This doesn't actually call for ignoring SCOTUS -- it's redefining corporations so that they don't fall under the umbrella of Citizens United in the first place. Big difference, and much easier to defend in court.

My work has now been cited by leading figures from both Stars Trek and Wars.

We’ve lived 15 years under Citizens United, watching billionaires and corporations shape democracy with their wallets. Reform once seemed impossible. But now, a group in Montana is asking a radical question: What if states simply stopped granting corporations the power to spend in politics?

The plan to beat Citizen's United is simple—it relies on corporate law that's existed for centuries.

Fact check:

@propublica.org is an outstanding news organization that does fact based reporting. The work is credible, reliable, timely and without fear or favor. If you aren't already familiar with ProPublica, give it a read: www.propublica.org.

STEPHANOPOULOS: ProPublica reported that several members of the Trump administation have similar questions about their mortgages

VANCE: ProPublica is basically a left-wing blog

S: Do you dispute the facts they reported?

VANCE: I haven't read it. I have no idea. I certainly question the source

After what sounds like a very long, frustrating, and pointless back-and-forth with DC inspectors, My Own Pizza has opened at Windom and Wisconsin in Tenleytown in the other half of the Z-Burger space. Always happy for the neighborhood to gain another late-night eating option.

Interesting admission from the White House: President Trump "has the heart of a humanitarian," presumably in a jar somewhere in the Oval Office.

Are all our humanitarians accounted for? José Andrés, you OK?

Tough break for authoritarians who seize power this year as the Nobel Committee makes a surprise move to award the other team.

White House staff should just make and show him an AI-generated video where he wins, fly him to Duluth and tell him it’s Oslo, and dare the New York Times to say anything more than “Experts disagree about whether Mr Trump was awarded the Nobel Prize”.
