I think about that a lot.
The show hard cuts to Ginsburg being stretchered out of the office, strapped down, but still giddy. He's free, and Peggy is standing there watching someone she worked with get carried away, obviously having lost touch with reality.
It's a valve. He believes his nipple is a release valve that lets out all of this energy the computer is sending into his body. As far as Ginsburg is concerned, he's free of the computer's grip. He can now live.
He tells Peggy that he's finally figured things out. He presents her a box that looks like it could contain jewelry, a watch, etc. She opens it, and sees Ginsburg's nipple. He's cut off his nipple and presented it to her in a box, and he couldn't be happier.
The last appearance we get of Ginsburg is in his boss's (Peggy Olsen) office. He's been very erratic lately with the computer, but in this case, he's strangely calm.
Anyway, Ginsburg doesn't like the computer. He makes this pretty clear to the characters and audience of the show.
But Ginsburg's origin is equally as confusing as Don's, but Don's origin story is told throughout the story. Ginsburg's is only shown in brief glimpses of his home life with his immigrant father.
The character of Ginsburg has been around for a few season at this point. He's eccentric. He's the opposite of Don Draper. Don seems to arrive at his best ideas naturally, out of no where. Ginsburg seems to process his ideas in real time for the audience, so he's much less mysterious in this sense.
One of the creatives, a character named Ginsburg, doesn't like that they've brought this computer in. The partners are dismissive and generally, he's seen as "out to lunch". The benefits of the computer are obvious and necessary as far as the office is concerned.
In Mad Men, in the later seasons, it's mid to late 1960s, so technology becomes more important to the story. In the show, they install a large computer in a central area of the office, to help with computing television viewing numbers and other metrics of ad efficiency or whatever.
I don't get how anyone could think this Packers team is actually any good
the amount of time red zone is giving to this god awful Packers Panthers game is disturbing.
I want futuristic but in a early 2000s aero frutiger futuristic.

this is such great sports. I love it
my partner is experiencing some real sports agony for the first time here.
What's the biggest sports event you had to miss because of a commitment?

As a kid I missed the Eberle WJHC goal against Russia and the David Tyree SB because of hockey practice.
I have a rec soccer game smack in the middle of game 7. Praying SN App holds up on the bench.
you got some trooper on this thing, right?
Just wow, Yesavage. Wild stuff
I have a Halloween party to attend on Friday and boy, wouldn't it be nice to watch a cool sports thing happen with all my friends that don't really care about sports. I could get so many people to admit sports are cool.
