I got ArchLinux on my elderly Intel NUC.

Again, aside from CSP being an ass, runs far smoother and has fewer issues than Windows did.

Aside from Clip Studio being a constant PITA I haven't had any notable issues since going to Linux. Even running games through Lutris and Steam the fan is only spinning at a comfy rate.

Any issues are usually from games like LoTRO with a lot of jank. They do break things sometimes.

My modest EFL peddler's salary was once mocked for being so low compared to their Canadian government job.

When we compared how much money we put in the bank at the end of the month the mockery stopped.

To be fair to them: It's easy to beat a negative.

Clip Studio v.1 hasn't been very cooperative with Linux/Wine lately so a switch to Krita for clean up looks like it's gonna happen soon.

The problem is dialog. I might just say fuck it and hand letter and live with the lack of quality.

Anyway, popping a Tylenol. Computer-caused headache is here...

A society always collapses into chaos because its rich and powerful lose all sense of self control and go buck wild on the house of cards that gave them power in the first place.

Then someone rebuilds only for their great grandkids to do it again. Nothing learned.
