I've just finished GMing a campaign of Swords of the Serpentine, set in Renaissance Venice. My own work, not the exciting forthcoming @kennethhite.bsky.social book! Good stuff - the Serpent Folk plot was defeated, and war between Venice and the Ottomans was prevented.

One interesting thing about Asimov is that he was far-sighted enough to be clearly anti-racist, while still remaining incredibly sexist (with the sexism in his works in some ways seeming to get worse rather than improving as he got older).
