Short summary:

The memory plushies are the memories of the MCI victims that were taken into UCN, to make UCN. Those are also what Afton took over to turn himself into Glitchtrap and what later is know as the Tangle. The memory plushies are used against Afton, defeating him until his next return.

I also believe that if Glitchtrap's death means the death for the character itself, not for the beings that were posessing it.

If M2 is Glitchtrap, then that means M2 is still alive, even if Glitchtrap is dead.

Same would go for Afton and M1. Glitchtrap is dead, but not its users.

I believe some kind of Mimic code is connected to Glitchtrap that is actively trying to remove Afton's conciousness from its system.

The Tangle is also kind of whats left of UCN and the MCI memories creating its own vessel and agony creature.

I believe those memories are the same exact memories Afton took over as the Afton Amalgamation from Princess Quest, who are also the actual memories left over from UCN.

The Tangle is an agony creature with a bunch of old parts from the past. However in RUIN, it doesnt have red-orange eyes anymore.

In Help Wanted 2, Glitchtrap is shown to be weaker than how he was in Security Breach. His intentions seem to be split, with one side of Glitchtrap working toward the goal of trying to get the mask to Cassie, while the other one is giving you the memory plushies to eventually kill Glitchtrap.

Now I cant tell you why the Tangle is hostile against Gregory, it doesnt really make much sense no matter what lore implication that thing might've had imo.

But it is very interesting that it is going after Afton specifically in the Burntrap ending.

Now I also believe Cassidy to be the Princess from Princess Quest, I believe that this is very obvious. I also believe that Cassidy potentially might take over the Tangle in the Afton bossfight.

Yes, I am saying that the Tangle is the physical version of what UCN is with all the MCI memories.

Afton takes over as some kind of creation using different animatronic parts, very similar to what happened in the books as the Afton Amalgamation (where to be fair, it was Eleanor powering the creature).

And using some mimic-tech, so Glitchtrap is born.

After William Afton's conciousness actually ''beat'' UCN, it is very likely that he just took over those Agony creations and memories with his own ghost, which is what we see in Princess Quest.

I believe Princess Quest is meant to explain how Afton came back after UCN.

I believe all of the ''souls'' and memories in UCN (besides Cassidy) are Agony creatures based off of the memories and agony from the past.

Very similar to Into The Pit Springbonnie, just lacking an actual physical form (yet).

In UCN, it has been long theorized if the animatronics that speak like they are posessed, are actually posessed. I dont believe they are actually the spirits, I believe those are the memories of the MCI victims being connected to UCN, through Cassidy.

That is exactly why he was being trapped on his own mind no matter what continuity follows after FFPS.

It is narratively unfair, he should not be able to be immortal. But these are the rules of the franchise.

To add some stuff more to this:

It's not about that developing the game in VR is the problem. They basically need to redo all the mechanics in the game for the VR port. I get it, its fine.

Its that theres no updates to it since months. Nobody mentions it or where the planned release window is set.

Theres content in SOTM that has an early VR build in it. Its basically just the hands like in Help Wanted 1 and 2

The ending will be interesting how they are gonna execute that though since Arnold's arm kinda gets twisted in the car crash. Then again, maybe they just remove that for VR.
