I’ve been exploring an AU of my characters in which Torvaile wasn’t as horrible of a person, and because mnemoforgers wouldn’t have been illegal in said AU, Sepia would have been brought to the Palace to learn, so he and my partner’s oc Savitri would have gotten rather close. #Carniflora #au

I think she will be. She has made significant progress and has finally realized and accepted the fact that Torvaile only ever saw her as a tool and a weapon and cared about her to the extent of her usefulness to him. She’s also making friends and taking etiquette lessons under Lady Cinder.

I figured as much! She’s doing a lot better now if a bit lonely. Currently, she’s staying alone in a little house the new ruler Kiyoshi has set up for her. Torvaile kept her isolated from everyone so she’s learning social skills before she’ll be let loose among other people. She gets visitors though

Avariss was an untouchable assassin; she is extremely poisonous (her blood, sweat, and especially her tears are lethal to others of her kind) so she lived a life without physical contact. She also has the power of intangibility which lets her phase through solid objects at will.

For those of you wondering, this is how Railan looked during Torvaile’s reign. He was rather haggard and thin and often recovering from several injuries at once due to his work with giant wasps the size of horses and cars and how badly the wasps were treated under Torvaile’s reign.
