We knew we could not trust these people around pets. This is pure evil. #ICE

True for seniors, too. Vermont Blue Advantage ending the one Advantage coverage plan in 2026. Means that 20,000+ seniors who currently pay zero for healthcare coverage will pay minimally $600 plus another roughly $115 for Part D, deductibles and copays. Many can't afford.

Vermont Blue Advantage is ending coverage for the 26,000 people on its individual Medicare Advantage plans for next year. That means that 26,000 seniors who currently pay zero for healthcare coverage will pay minimally $600 per year per person, plus another roughly $115 for Part D. #healthcare

More health insurance problems are happening to seniors. The Part D prescription insurance market is imploding, going from 50 plans in 2007 to only 5 national companies in 2026. The number of agents that will help with formularies and tiers has dropped. #healthcare youtu.be/SgOX_n79fNI?...

It’s funny I never see valid follow questions posted from her interviews.

Love his message. I like thinking of NYC as the light in a time of darkness.

America today. Hiding days in a bedroom during a military assault.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago’s South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door.

It wasn’t the feds —  it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.

He let them hide in his unit for the next 3 days.

Truth never appears as a goal, but factual does. Selective facts that make both political sides look equivalent is not truth. Nothing about freedom of the press or strong investigative journalism. She can resign now as the best next step.

So the reporter followed up and asked for arrest records and criminal convictions? No?

You are using your anger and frustration to intimidate others from discussing legitimate points. If that is your aim, fine, but you could just stop discussing. I'm happy to move on.
theresavermont.bsky.social
I think that's a point: There were some aspects of socialism they adopted, particularly prior to 1934, but many they did not. Does that mean they deserved a flat label of socialist? What does that mean politically?
theresavermont.bsky.social
Does that state control mean socialism? That's the point. How does it meet the definition of socialism? There's plenty of historians who argue that it doesn't. Your first point was that "socialist" was in the name, therefore they were socialist. History argues that was a political ploy.

I'm not sure you are in the mood to continue this discussion. Much depends on who owns the means of production and distribution, beyond planning. Nazis re-privatized many state-owned enterprises and implemented a system of intense state control, we agree.

Why so angry? All of us studied this for years.
