Fun fact for #nokings. To severe allegiance to the King of England, the Episcopal Church's 1st American Bishop was consecrated by the Scottish Episcopal Church, which did not require an oath to the British Crown for Apostolic Succession (fancy word for authority that traces back to Christ).

If milk helps break down the capsaicin, it is marginal at best while increasing other risk factors. It doesn't help for CN at all, which also brings up another important point: you don't know what chemical agents someone was sprayed with which could have undesirable outcomes if mixed with non-water.

Additional context here: the primary reason copious saline/water is better than milk as a treatment for pepper mace is that milk is hard to keep sterile so you're increasing the likelihood for bacterial infection to already inflamed eyes, skin, and lungs, especially on hot days.

Intolerant views in public spaces, especially when propagated by government power, is to acquiesce to the paradox of tolerance. Forces of intolerance bought X(née Twitter) making that space intolerant. Defending BSky against the intolerant makes it a more open, not less open, public space.

First amendment protections empower us to use our voices to defend ourselves and the places we gather in public against those more powerful than we are; this includes public ridicule and censure. Our first amendment institutions are failing us. Public action and activism is the next line of defense.

Genuine question. How do you conclude that public spaces are better by accepting the purchase of those spaces by billionaire techbros (e.g. Twitter et al), and then allowing equal access to competing public spaces (e.g. BlueSky) without repercussions for their previous offenses and abuses of power?
