Berkley Catton looks pretty pretty good.
Edit: goal was Chariot's, Benny!!
Just much better play. Appleton has definitely looked better on this line than MBN, just because of the pace that he plays with.
And they got rocked. Elmer beat back door, lucky to not have that end up in the back of the net.
Need to see a lot more from this line. Love me some big Ras but he straight up needs to play better.
Here we go, last 4 minutes have been better.

Blues were gassed too, was so close
Damnit Hamonic, that was a good friggen rush chance going the other way!

I do appreciate the attempt to try and amp up the team.
ASP trying to will that puck through, g-dang.
Today, we live post our way through this.

So far, bad start...big oof.
If you value your sanity, then don't
That "maybe our third pair won't drag everything down" experiment didn't last very long...
The saddest part about this game is that it feels like 2021/2022...where the Wings are down by 2+, the building is lifeless, and Ken and Mic are just chatting away for 2 periods.

It hurts that this is so familiar...
Sadly, I fear he bet on the wrong horse in Edmonton. But man what a smart deal for him.

2 years is enough time to give Edmonton nearly $12mil in extra space to find a cup winning team...but also enough time for McDavid to be in his prime and leave when this contract expires.

Brilliant gambit
Man, that's so upsetting. This shit is the opposite of everything that makes sports awesome, especially for the kids.

F'in capitalism
We had 1 kid in the neighborhood that could afford to play hockey, and he was the COOLEST kid around by far.
It's the era initials, because ASP and MBN seem like they could make a push.

The DeBrincat/Kasper/MBN line was really interesting. Fast, feisty and the potential to produce a lot of goals.
@mbultman.bsky.social

is 2 period of pre-season hockey enough to answer this question...?
I want to say "you are so wrong", but I can't get myself to do it.

Almost everything in the write up is true (sans the Albert Johansson slander. Dude was a rookie playing 2nd pair matchups on his offhand, when he is better suited for a 3rd pair role...give him a bit of a break)

The truth hurts =[
Classic Michigan/Nebraska game of the last decade, who tries harder to absolutely blow it.
