Seagulls and pelicans have a commensalism relationship. The seagulls like to attempt to steal or at least find bits of food left behind by the pelicans. Most seagulls will land near where the pelicans are floating. I think this one was afraid to get his feet wet.

An Atlantic bottle nosed dolphin. These a non-migrating group who hang out in Galveston and the surrounding waterways year round. We even see them in Clear Lake occasionally. Usually pretty difficult to photograph in our murky waters. #photography #dolphin #wildlifephotography #galveston

I happenstance I had my camera in a high frame rate mode, so I actually got a couple of frames of these two. I think the house finch was offended that the white crowned sparrow decided he could partake.

Been at Davis Mountains State Park for a couple days now. But been busy for a variety of reasons and haven’t had a chance to really get out. But I got out for a hike today. The best part though was the bird blind they had set up. My favorite bird was this Scott’s oriole. #Bird #Birds #Photography.
