I love the time that white flowery vine blooms on trees... parasitic, but all the trees wear it like a veil, like autumns brides, their train flowing all the way down into a small valley... no picture can do justice to it ....

Spires

We dream so long of harbors safe and still
that anchors bloom with algae in the deep,
their metal kissed by fish with gentle will,
while seabed cradles rust in quiet sleep.

The sailor’s gaze, still blue with bold desire,
would lift that weight from comfort’s mossy bed,
to chase the sky where spires rise and fire
paints sea and cloud in orange, gold, and red.

Let not the anchor marry stone and silt,
nor dream become a tomb of softened ache.
The sailor stares, unblinking, sharp as guilt
and dares to let the silence break.

For those who stare at liberated, not flee
the sea is home, the longing is agency.
