not just because of how funny it is but also because of the association with Ellen that keeps on coming up. It's something that I didn't expect to happen but it is something that I am completely embracing.
so much together.
Rewatching the series has really been an experience as it brings up so many memories and emotions. It's not something I was expecting at all. It has definitely been positive and even though there are moments when sadness does creep in, overall, it's been great watching it
aquarium it was full out collaboration in which we would sit down and hammer out details. For example, when we were redoing the Marine Mammal program, we went out to K-Dock to sit and watch the sea lions and figure out how we could change the program to make it more engaging. Ellen and I

raccoons just sitting in front of the door and waiting. Ellen had the broom next to the door, so I had to chase them away and of course all they did was run a bit and then sit back down and wait. These raccoons were completely spoiled and demanding.
These are just two examples

first time, I saw the really big polychaete worms swimming to the surface. Before then I had only seen them in videos so never live. I was blown away by how they moved). However, she was telling me about the raccoons that lived there and how they were really a nuisance and a menace. They were an

I went to see Ellen at the Washington marine lab. In this place Ellen had a little bungalow to herself; she so had complete privacy. I walked over to where she was at (I left the car over at the parking lot and had to walk the rest of the way) and of course we were both excited and happy to see each

When everyone returns a year later, the place is in shambles with raccoons taking residence in the house. It's the raccoons that brought the memory of the first day when

In later years, there were still moments in which Ellen would be happy to see me when I came over to

It was during the time when she had the dorm room to herself as the person, she was sharing the room was gone for several days (it was during the weekend and the 4th of July holiday

Ellen was taking the field course over at Bodega Bay Marine Lab. She got the opportunity to take the class out there and jumped on it (actually whenever Ellen got the opportunity to take any kind of marine bio field classes, she would always take them. This is how she made the trip to Washington and
It just hit me hard. Ellen would make a similar sound when she was really happy and excited. One of the strongest memories of an event that caused her to make that sound as well as get very similar results is during our early years together. It happened when we were still living in San Francisco and
it's obvious but at the time I never really noticed) where the couple get separated and then get reunited. When the male character, his wife gives this little squeal of excitement and happiness and at the end of the episode they run off to “reconnect”. Hearing that little squeal triggered memories.
For example, there is the vampire couple that are central characters. There is one episode (which was funny but the first time I saw it I didn't realize that Mark Hamill was playing the antagonist in the episode. It didn't hit me until way after the fact and now that I see it again
