Major evolution in the GZDoom community tonight - the regular contributors finally had enough of the project lead, who had been very hard to work with for a long time. He dug in and told them "If you don't like it, go and make your own fork."

A few last minute edits, and my little 32x32px Doom sprite collection is complete. ✌️

wrote up a bit of info on a less common US revision of Micro Machines for the NES, featuring a pretty nasty bug, discovered just a little too late and then worked around by using a PLD to patch a single *bit*. this is what day one patches looked like in 1991!

One thing software emulation or MiSTER based attempts to recreate classic computers will never truly be able to capture is how goddamn STIFF the controllers were. Completing a level of HERO or Jetpac on these bad boys was like pushing shit uphill.
