The NYT repeatedly referenced “thousands” of protesters in their article today. Not tens or hundreds of thousands (which is objectively true), just thousands. Just garbage cowardly “reporting.”

I read an interesting post last week that soybeans could go the way of post-Civil War cotton. Southern states were convinced European markets would come back to US cotton. They had already subsidized Egypt. We never recovered that market share.

Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CANNOT get better.

Other countries expanded their soy industries to fill China's demand.
