Reminder that Smash and the Olympics games have been lying to us about how close the Mario and Sonic characters are in height. Mario is officially 5'1" and Sonic is officially 3'3". Extrapolate from there using respective franchise height charts as you please. Mobians are little guys.

Main canon Sonic's never really dealt with grief like Movie Sonic losing Longclaw, so he can't relate to main canon Shadow that well. But the Movie versions can relate better. Be interesting to see this different dynamic in future movies (as long as Shadow didn't get amnesia at the end of Movie 3).

Movie Sonic and Shadow are probably the first version of the two that might truly be friends because of their talk and understanding each other more. All Sonics tend to consider their Shadows as friends, but this might be the first Shadow to consider his Sonic a friend (unless Archie but idk).

There's King Bob-omb, Whomp King, Goomboss, Petey Piranha, maybe King Lakitu, all kinda leaders of the different generic enemies, all working for Bowser. He'd have a King Boo, but wouldn't want the psychopath who takes things to the extreme. Bowser probably crowned the Big Boo from Big Boo's Haunt.

The two King Boos are definitely not the same, and don't say it's because the jewel in the crown cuz LM3 shows it's not. One's a psychopath, one's a goofy ghost. I think the LM one went rogue and declared himself king and the other one is a Big Boo appointed by Bowser to lead the Boos in his army.

missed my 1 year anniversary here on bluesky.
Been having a great time on here, didn't use Twitter much but this is much better. I just hope the team cleans up their act a bit, I've heard about the nut they won't ban despite him violating TOS. Do better Bluesky team, be the better social media.

New SMG4 episode is yet another great story for Karen, yet another COLOSSAL mishandling of Tari and insult to her character. I'm gonna scream if we get another episode where she's just there to be gullible and get tricked into doing stupid out-of-character stuff. AND GET CLENCH OUT OF HERE ALREADY.

Dang, apparently the "official" Inktober is controversial cuz the guy who trademarked it did some plagiarism. Had ideas for the "official" prompts, but I'll scrap my plans of doing it. Probably gonna delete the two posts I did cuz of the hashtag but repost the pics and list some of the ideas I had.

It's had horrible impact on real creatives, it's decimated real research and writing ethic, it's spread misinformation both by making crap up on its own and being used to create false information, it's bad for the environment, AI is terrible for everyone and we'd be better off without it.

If I was given a big red button that would instantly and irreparably destroy all generative AI databases and infrastructure with no chance to ever recover them or rebuild AI back to what it is now, I'd press that button in a heartbeat with no hesitation and no regrets.

GLITCH probably heard about Robyn joining the dogpile on ProZD, that might lead them to her other crap, they're pretty progressive so probably won't even bother inviting her back. Hope that past association with Robyn doesn't reflect badly on Celeste (and hope she's not like this too...)

Well frick, seems Robyn Barry-Cotter really is a grifter, apparently she was defending Vic Mignogna back during his allegations and has said a lot of anti-feminist crap to appease her anti-feminist husband. There goes any of my hopes at getting the full Meta Runner cast back together for anything.

Disappointed to see Robyn Barry-Cotter (from Anime America, voice of Theo in Meta Runner and SMG2 in SMG4) joining the "reap what you sow" against ProZD over misunderstanding of what he said, he was talking about LIVE ACTION in that interview clip, and about being mindful of authentic casting.

Turns out the entire drama was wrong from the start. People (including me) assumed that Orville and Olivia Park were white, but Dana confirmed that they're actually Korean (like ProZD). Probably should've thought about the fact that Park is a super common Korean surname.

Everyone's jumping on him for supposedly saying VAs should only voice characters of their ethnicity and then getting cast as a non-Asian character in Knights of Guinevere, but that interview clip is being taken out of context and in bad faith. Also racism was probably another reason he left Twitter.

I know people already don't like Disney for various reasons, but they've been *generally* progressive, I don't think they'd do this without good reason, and the reason is that the fascists have a lot of power right now. Can't have free speech on ABC if there is no ABC.

I'd prefer if they used that Disney wealth to fight back instead, but they probably panicked in the moment. Word says the execs had no problem with what he said and almost immediately went into talks to get him back on the air, probably just lying low until something else distracts the fascists.

From some of what I'm seeing, seems like Disney/ABC had no choice but to pull Kimmel's show, their broadcast affiliates got mad and complained to the FCC who basically held a gun to ABC's head and forced them to either pull Kimmel or have all their broadcast licenses taken away.

Knights of Guinevere pilot is a great start, really hoped we'd get some more insight into what's going on (the footage from the announcement trailer isn't even in the pilot) but they gotta keep us intrigued to get the full season greenlit. DANA HAS BEEN UNCHAINED.

TANGLE HAS A MAJOR ROLE IN THE SONIC RACING CROSSWORLDS COMIC!? SHE MIGHT BE IN THE GAME. Begging that if she's voiced they listened to the fans about who would be a perfect voice for her and cast Sarah-Nicole Robles pretty much just doing her Luz voice. Also Mae Whitman as Whisper cuz why not.
