It has grown huge. Hoping it will bloom next year.
I usually see Red Admirals on Millennium but it was all bumblebees all the time on these.
Late blooming Allium ‘Lavender Bubbles’ is a striking plant, lovely blue-green foliage, graceful emerging buds, and spherical blooms that are a more intense purple than popular variety, ‘Millennium’ 🌱
My latest on Substack. 🌱 it’s soup season.

Did you know that potager translates to Soup Garden?

Goldfinches having a great time eating echinacea seeds. 🌱
I went for a walk this afternoon after the initial shock of the news here in Minneapolis. Kids move dinosaurs around this front garden every day. Innocence lost today especially heartbreaking. We are a city of neighborhoods. We are all together in mourning tonight. 🌱
Those are ‘Italian Heirloom’ and ‘Sweet Treats’
Too bad coming all at once.
