Galaxy S26 | S26+ having Exynos globally frees up a lot of budget for the camera system

There is literally no excuse for them not to upgrade the cameras

No to mention how even a 50/50/50 system paired with Exynos 2600 would still be cheaper than using Snapdragon

At 3.5GHz the Exynos 2600 scores over 10,000 in multi core

The level of efficiency needed for such low clock speeds to achieve this level of performance is incredible

And again makes a point on how insane a laptop version would be if that ran at ~4.5GHz

Saved by the display

Exynos 2600 is in a favorable position to power the Galaxy S26 Ultra thanks to the high efficiency improvements its new CoE display brings and extra time due to delays

On top of that, higher and more stable yields than expected give them more confidence

Samsung mobile doesn’t have Exynos exclusivity

This opens the door for companies to partner with Exynos the same way we have seen done with Isocell and Samsung Display. With the Exynos 2600 being positioned as a new leader, brands could use it in their own (non Galaxy) flagships

Software optimization is just as important as hardware. Exynos has yet again achieved its performance goal, now optimize the software for that chipset

If Samsung pulls off those huge Exynos 2600 results like on their testing they are very well positioned to develop a laptop processor

Wouldn’t be the first time a laptop is powered by Exynos. Plus Samsung already has a close partnership with Microsoft when it comes to computing

With performance so incredible on the Exynos 2600 I do wonder why Samsung will still use Snapdragon in some parts with the Galaxy S26 Ultra

Will likely be the inferior option unless they limit Exynos to match it

I am excited to see a full Exynos exclusive S26, it will be FAST

85% yield on 2nm is an insane achievement by Samsung

They took years to reach this on their 5nm, 4nm and 3nm process

Also gives them a huge boost towards competing with TSMC

It’s interesting to see the lengths Samsung went to increase performance on the Exynos 2600

Separating the modem from the chipset to use the area for extra performance is uncommon due to efficiency, although that seems to be countered by the more efficient process

2nm yields on the Exynos 2600 are now in optimal positions however Samsung is striving for even higher yields while improving the performance

The chip enters mass production in November with a full Galaxy S26 series debut in Q1 2026

Latest testing shows the chipset surpasses all 2026 processors thanks to separating the modem from the chip and using that space for higher performance alongside the 2nm process
