(Like seriously, the dude was saying "People's Republic of Korea" all weekend. There are no North Koreans at ISU competitions other than sometimes World Champs, and that's the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea". South Korea is, in official usage, just "Republic of Korea".)

Oh, I think the arena announcers were fine, and I wasn't paying the closest attention to the commentary, but there was just a whole lot of "wow, not a lot of international experience yet for these skaters, we'll certainly be seeing a whole lot more of them in the future!" And, like, no???

Also, I don't remember if it was Chris or someone else commentating on the Olympic Qualifier event in Beijing, but there WERE North Korean skaters at that event, and I got the distinct impression that whoever was doing the commentary didn't notice they were from the other Korea.

I believe I suffer from a very specific curse, where any time I walk into a food establishment with the intent to order something other than my regular, it will inevitably be the first time an employee lights up with recognition and says, “<your regular>, right?” How could I say no to that???

The resulting audio isn't great (and the audio of the video was pretty bad to begin with), there's an audio effect on my voice from the background noise reduction, but the video is back up now with all of my words. But I wish there was a way to report the scam copyright claim.
