Being black/brown and femme in PWI can be alot for sure.

I learned about the leaky pipeline in Education afterwards and had to realize I was a part of that.

Yup - I honestly was supposed to be on a Grad School track, but there was an administrator at my school that was a major opp and kind of ruined my whole senior year, causing a leaky pipeline.

Luckily, he got implicated in a lawsuit later. Still wish him the ABSOLUTE worst.

Hahah - doubled in Poli Sci + Film, but started my media career in Journalism.

I have a love/hate relationship with social media because on the one side, it's democratized the ability to communicate but on the flipside, there's been a huge deterrence in long/mid form, fact checking & avant garde.
