When I first moved here, I volunteered a lot for The Friends of SPL, so got to volunteer for the grand opening gala. Top Seattle experience hands down. I was a VIP greeter and met August Wilson! I've taken both kids there for their first library card, and they were so SOLEMN about it. ❤️

Same. On one Wenatchee visit we went to Rocky Reach Dam and I was DELIGHTED to learn about the salmon cannon. The visitor's center/playground is a nice little stop if you find yourself in the area. There's a little cafe. Stop at the Stemilt store nearby for fruit and good ice cream.

I was having trouble getting the MLB radio audio working, discovered I couldn't stream the station online elsewhere, then searched the house for an old school radio, only to find we only had a handcrank one with outdated charging ports. Bought a new emergency radio today, heh. Kid was mystified.

Yes! With my then-baby because husband was getting home from work after it started. The boomers behind us got really cranky with us because my baby was noisy, so after some back and forth, I ended up leaving with my kiddo before it was over and emailing comments.
