Honestly and truly live performance is magical and it IS the best way to view it. Unique things do happen on stage.

That said... It does NOT need to be the only way to see it. I'll take a final dress rehearsal recording, something. I would pay if it was affordable to own recordings.

Like Range said, I personally find it fun to be a Personal goal deal - take an oversized piece of clothing with Fat Bear League ™️ branding, and grow in/out of. I also like playing as a "Coach"/encourager and that gives a fun dynamic.
(Also this prevents size creep year over year)
