Knowing that I do/have put so much effort and energy into reducing my carbon footprint just to become an adult and realize others were never taking it as seriously as I am/was & now I’ve brought a child into this and I have no idea what world is going to be left for him when I’m gone 🙂

I think the inner child questions trigger the grief a little stronger because my childhood was my granny’s house. Granny’s house is where the children go to run a muck (within reason) 🤭 Granny’s house was the only place where our mommas could also get a whoopin if they wasn’t actin right 🤣🥹

I’m a little mentally under the weather today. It was my granny’s heavenly birthday on Monday 🩷🧡🕊️ & I haven’t taken time to honor her yet. I want to go put some flowers down but that somehow always makes it real & permanent feeling. Grief truly has no end date

I protect my inner child by not worrying about what ppl think is childish

BUT I would say one of the most childish things that I do is skip. I skip to my parents when I see them out in public, my friends, literally anyone I care about or am genuinely happy or excited to see.

My kindergarten teacher did not play!! When she wanted the class to act right she would put this song on and everyone would stop what they were doing, come together, & go nuts dancing and singing to this. I still do 😂😂 music.apple.com/us/album/abc...
