My day actually started by finding out my very favorite teacher, the person in my life I would nominate for sainthood above any other, is dying an awful, rapid death from Alzheimer's after devoting her life to her students + public service - the fates certainly seem to be on a cruel streak, huh.

I am very aware that she remained in full support of Allen, don't try the GOTCHA here - she's about the only person whose loyalty to him still made sense to me, even if I vehemently disagreed with such a stance. So unfair to see that decrepit creep living to see another day when she's now gone.
