- bed

Brother has moved to his new apartment

In the new apartment:
- personal belongings (clothes, books, etc)
- kitchen stuff
- light fixtures
- dogs (single most important step)

Things not yet in the new apartment:
- bed
- any other furniture

I have said there’s only so much contemporary romance I can read, which is mostly because there are so many real people problems I want to engage with at a time, but otoh, when your problem is that [deep breath] you, a former soldier turned bodyguard, in a kink situationship with your boss

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

I realize there are no right answers here but I have seen a WRONG answer, ie, the passenger in my row once who got up for the bathroom four minutes before landing after the flight attendants were already strapped in and then looked surprised when he got yelled at
