Exactly lol we truly live in the dumbest times, bro.
My kids have grown up calling my best friend "Uncle". I have half a dozen "Aunts" who are not related to me by blood *at all*. This is the dumbest straw to be grasping at, and it's frankly pathetic.
In a bit of a tense moment, one of the La Mega co-hosts presses Mamdani on why he "lied" about his "aunt" having been scared to ride the subway after 9/11 while wearing a hijab.

Mamdani says it was "not a lie" because he refers to his father's cousin as his "aunt."
THIS IS GOOD SHIT! Support Python if you can afford to do so.
TLDR; The PSF has made the decision to put our community and our shared diversity, equity, and inclusion values ahead of seeking $1.5M in new revenue. Please read and share. pyfound.blogspot.com/2025/10/NSF-...

This football game might be worse than that Jets/Broncos game in London lol this is ASS
Lemme know how it is! I held off on the blind buy, but I am interested in checking it out at some point soon.
A stone cold classic arrived today. My second favorite Cronenberg. A true all timer.

Yeah man I’m getting pixel remaster vibes. These are VERY similar to the differences between the FFVI SNES/Pixel Remasters.

Woah I’m surprised this was in the new Pokémon game
That's... not what direct means.
That isn't the same thing as getting a key from Square. Keymailers get X number of keys to distribute as they see fit. Square is not vetting each person getting those codes, as they do with the creators they work with directly. Getting the game for free from a keymailer ≠ getting a code from Square.
He can get all the rainmaker codes he likes, but those codes aren’t being sent directly by Square. They just aren’t.
"Look Dad, I'm camouflaged!"
Ask, and ye shall receive 😂
I know no one cares about one's fantasy team but I need a Tucker Kraft TD (or big fourth quarter) to beat Rex Ryan this week, everyone please form a prayer circle around me
Buddy, those Steelers throwback jerseys are BUTT
It might be time to come back to FFXIV...
Wiggins finally did something 😭 thank god
Yeah, that's definitely another huge tell! There is usually (not always) some expectation for specific coverage when you get a game from PR. So a random "thank you" followed by silence is telling.
It's truly embarrassing behavior, and 9/10 PR reps are gonna laugh you out of their inbox for it lol
I need to check the book out!

You nailed it with the Annihilation comp, definitely in the same vein. And I didn't see Rebecca until you pointed that out 😂
They also count on whoever the account manager on social media is to not be checking each and every claim for veracity. They hope that the main brand account will re-post their praise, furthering their legitimacy and potentially reaching a new audience. Fuck this guy and those like him.
This is a well known grifter trick. They claim they get codes from PR to bolster their legitimacy. They use it to try and gain followers, as well as a way to trick smaller PR into actually giving them codes in the future. "Look, Square has worked with me before, you should too!"
I try not to bring attention to these people, but it’s important to note: this is a lie. This guy, who’s responsible for directing a lot of hate at people, mostly women, hasn’t received a code from Square in years. I know this because I know many people at Square. Look at the date: release day.
Someone needs to do a wellness check on those console warriors we were talking about on SDGC last night lol
