I’m going to keep saying it until it happens:

My writing will be the reason my house gets paid off.

My writing will be the reason why I won’t have to work a 9-5 the rest of my life.

My writing will be the reason why I can finally know how it feels to live comfortable in this lifetime.
I hope you have been well! And thank you for reaching out!
How are you?! 😃

I have just been hibernating? I’ve been needing to take a break from everything social media. Life has been interesting to say the least and just felt a bit overwhelmed by the media and just everything.
All I can say is that God don’t like ugly. And when people have the wrong motives, they have to pay up. #LongStory
I agree. Most people didn’t know about it coming out unless it was word of mouth. But in a way? I actually liked that better because it felt like it was a movie where only certain people would understand it and only certain people would appreciate it.
That’s terrible that you give 4 decades of your life to work and never really get paid what your are truly worth. And then having to work even more hours just to make ends meet? There is no way that this was how life was supposed to be. Is it capitalism or is it lack of human decency?
I think what’s really sad that depending on what type of what you want to do, you have to be prepared to go into more than one job interview.

I’m a professional caregiver who makes less than $10 per hour and have to work more than one job because most caregiving jobs don’t pay a living wage.
We are definitely living in The Twlight Zone when we are congratulating each other for getting a second or third job.
The Pandemic made us realize a lot about our surroundings and that’s why life seems so weird now. . .

Why do we put so much weight on what others think about our lives? Because the way I see it: Those people will either be dead before you or if they do out live you, their opinion definitely won’t change how you lived your life. So, why not just do what makes you happy and will bring you peace?
I’m so sorry.

It’s just that what do you do when this type of stuff happens at work? Like you have to be around a lot of people and you don’t get that break until they finally leave. I mean, I think people have to learn how to read a room and not assume that everybody is an extrovert.
I am not a people-person and I hate when people force me to be one. I have never liked attention, loud noises, or being in big crowds. All of these things give me a tremendous amount of anxiety. I prefer to stay lowkey in every aspect of my life.
If we really are free, equal, and just simply the human race, we shouldn’t know the difference between a white neighborhood and that black people live on a certain side of town. #IJS
I know we aren’t supposed to HATE anything, but I HATE grief.
