I will add the caveat that I adore musk stick lollies, and the musk zooper dooper tastes exactly like a musk stick. Son agrees and his other comment was 'without the funky texture of a musk stick.' It really is an age thing. 😆

In other news, I bought a bag of the new Summer Carnival Zooper Doopers. New flavours are Orange Mango, Musk, Cola Spider, Pineapple Passionfruit, Blueberry Raspberry and Toffee Apple. We have tried the Musk, and the Pine/Passionfruit - both are amazing 😋 Our best guess for the meh is Toffee Apple.

We planned to have our air conditioner serviced today, but the heavens opened up and so much rain happened during the three hour window the techs were supposed to be here. 😭
While our service has been rescheduled, I live in hope that we do not have any really hot days between now and a month's time.

I can easily think of at least a dozen UK cooks with tv shows that were never adverse to herbs, spices and loads of flavour, and made recipes that are pretty easy to follow for most people. Not everything needs to be Masterchef level cuisine.

Why is it when I have planned -and started- to wash all of my bedding because the forecast is for a windy and unseasonable 32C day that the skies are grey and the air is cool and still?

I’m laughing at the decorations hanging up in my local Westfield mall. The Centre have put up the Christmas wreaths, the stores are trying hard to appeal to those who celebrate Halloween (30 years since they started and it’s still not really a thing). Happy spooky Xmas 😆
