I'm sensitive to it because the pattern I've seen before is people being interested in me, I get that joy of feeling like I belong and have found my people, but then they get bored and move on elsewhere, and it's back to square one. It's happened well, many times before. It leaves a mark.

Unpicking some things in my brain about me. It's fair to say I think I'm anxious and worried, but just about where I fit in with people and how people see me. Do they actually like me? Do they like my company, find me interesting, enjoy the things I do, the art I get, my fursona, and so on...

I try to avoid talking about AI, but seeing news that they plan to make chat GPT start doing erotica makes my eyes roll all the way round in my skull.

If you want well written erotica, just engage with one of the many furry writers out there. We'll literally love you forever if you read our stuff.

Yeah, I've got the space now so it feels doable, and just nice to have something that's just focused on sitting down and just chatting.

Now that I have space, I am thinking of getting into VR chat again (with a headset too) as a way of just chatting and keeping up with folks. The only thing keeping me away really is the worry it'll be something I buy but then get no use out of.
