Finland: Investments into fixed networks continued to grow quickly in 2024, with 29% more invested compared to 2023. Fibre rollout is the main driver.

Whereas investments into fixed network (497 MEUR) never was higher, mobile network investments peaked in 2021 and fell 12% in 2024.

In an interview with ITWatch, Sinal's (new name of Norlys fiber network biz) CEO says it will invest about 800 MDKK per year although the total investments of the Danish industry fell in 2024 compared to 2021, 2022, 2023. He wants to see the take rate grow from 50% to 80%.
