Man, I’ve just been getting the worst sleep the last few days.

Consistant 3 to 4 hour intervals that get interrupted then I’m up for another 8-10 hours.

It’s also just like, not worth the change for a small handful of cards for a small handful of decks.

Almost all hybrid cards have analogues in their respective colors.

Circling back to this, generic costs just aren’t WUBRG mechanically.

I can’t Red Elemental Blast any spell with a generic cost, that’s not a mechanically identity. Hybrid mana works differently.

Not really? Colorless mana is a thing. The absence of color doesn’t make it all colors, it’s called generic mana costs for reason.

I don’t really get the appeal of people wanting hybrid mana to work in commander when there’s more options then ever to accommodate the hybrid cards in ever growing pool of available commanders.

RS2 graphics really are peak for my childhood as well.

There’s a reason I don’t play with any of the high definition plug ins to make the game look better, lol

Interesting way to look at it, but generic mana doesn’t impact the color of a card, while hybrid mana in the mana cost makes the card the colors of the mana. Simple as, even without talking about color identity.

By your line of thought generic mana costs are hybrid WUBRG, and that’s not the case.

Re: Hybrid Mana in commander.

Restrictions are important to the format. If you don't want to play within them Canadian Highlander is a very real format that is experiencing some growth.

I like almost all of it, great steps to mature the bracket system.

I’m not fan of removing Deflecting Swat as a GC when it’s often better then FoW in EDH.

Changing hybrid mana rules is unnecessary and not worth the few cards it allows to see more play.
