I've been there my friend. It hurts at the time but I will always be glad I could give that to my fur-baby. It's been 10 years now and your post brought me to tears at the memory. I would do it again to be there for him as he laid his head in my hand for the last time. Sorry for your loss.

I am at work (I volunteer for a mental health charity as a counsellor) and for the first time since Spring my therapy room is FREEZING cold. It took every ounce of strength to not let my teeth chatter and sit here shivering. I've got another client in half an hour 🥶🥶🥶
