This evening Muffin climbed on my shoulder for the first time which is amazing progress

She is 100% a sweet girl, sadly her previous owners didn't treat her the way she deserved so she doesn't understand what kindness looks like

Muffin is slowly learning that not all humans are bad humans

This breaks my heart to see a rat flinch, I can very much see what the humans who had her had done to her. I’ve never rescued a rat who flinches as much as Muffin does
