I still have a huge hole in my heart from the deaths of two of my closest friends within months of each other

Promotion was all mine but I was like “Nah I’m not ready”

Position wasn’t filled
I’ve proven I’m more than capable but salary offered at time isn’t same salary being offered now

I should’ve taken the offer when it was presented

Success meant something different at diff phases of my life - pre- marriage, kids, etc.

Right now success means seeing the destination and having the means and the skills to get there
