Oddly I don’t have any of my first miniatures I painted. They were plastic Lizardmen and, me being the generation of Spawn, had to paint them chaos black with dark angels green scutes, red eyes, tongue and weapon handle, white teeth, and ledbelcher shield and blades.

I may not have gotten an Armies on Parade medal this year, but the competition was stellar this year, so I have no complaints. It was a blast getting to nerd out with so many hobbyists and showing off my fledgling Genestealer Cults!

Tomorrow is my local Warhammer Store’s Armies on Parade. I’m as ready as I could be (if I had one more week…). That said, I took a moment to paint an idea I had at work. As such, I think I finally know what my custom Space Marine chapter will be: The Feral Troodons!

Got distracted, but it was worth it to work on Genestealer Cults Atlan Jackal Alphus “Peni” and her little pup “Billy”. I had some issues with paint reactivation, but I should be able to touch them up.

The march on Armies on Parade continues. I haven’t updated for a bit, but I’m happy to say that everything is on track with my Genestealers Cults Final Day army (plus a Norm Emissary). Painting up 4 characters tomorrow and then Monday will be working on the terrain.

The march on Armies on Parade continues. Tyranid Raveners, the Genestealer Cults Trucks and their riders are primed. I am still floored by those who can do 24 hour challenges, I’m just struggling to make daily progress.

The march on Armies on Parade continues. The Genestealer Cults Goliath Truck and Rockgrinder are assembled (wheels left off for easy priming and painting, cultist are not glued on yet either). These vehicles and the Tyranid Raveners will be primed shortly.

Ever since I started asking my 3D printer’s “machine spirit” to work with me, it has been working most efficiently. Considering buying the Martian robes and getting incense to burn. I wonder what scent pleases the Omnissiah… I got a citrus candle for now.

The march on Armies on Parade continues. My 3D printer is now hard at work making basing items and after some more Genestealer Cults Hybrid Metamorph painting I drilled Neophyte Hybrid gun barrels, primed them all, and started painting my Achilles Ridgerunner.

Apparently we fired a hellfire missile at a UFO and it bounced off. Real Astra Militarum energy there, going all “suffer not the xenos to live” and rolling a 1 on the wound roll.
