Work load has been too much recently to work on something new for Warhammer World this weekend, so the Knights of Ni shall stride to war once more!

Just got to paint 4 autocannon to replace those Pulsars and then the list is done.

Real life is getting busier and busier, so with 2 weeks until the 40k GT at Warhammer World, the back up plan of running Imperial Knights for the first time in a year could be instigated.

The Knave of Hearts may see battlefield once more!

I just need the older style Deathmask helmets to arrive in the post, and the first 3 are essentially done, bar a bit of gap filling.

Really happy with these avenging angels! Could easily see this jumping from a 1k to 2k army now.

Even with Emperor's Children around the corner!

#PrecinctA55 is nearly fully built!

Still need to decide how I'm adding Autocannons to the Heavy Sentinels to count as Helverins, and I have a converted Inquisitor Corteaz and 3 Rogue Trader hangers-on, left to build.

5 weeks until the event, and I want a painting nomination...

I always felt that the Arbites needed an Ed-209 style support walker, and then as if by luck, the Imperial Army in 30k received the Aethon Heavy Sentinel.

With a suitably large base, it's as good as a match (some detailing on the base will sort that)

Need the autocannon to arrive in the post now!

Two more Sentinels on the way, one more Breacher squad to finish and a few necromunda hired guns to acquire for Rogue trader entourages and then that's army complete for Warhammer World on Feb.

The Melta probably needs scaling back a little, but I think this hits the mark for extreme riot suppression for the army.

So I'd been pondering a conversion for running 3 Armiger Helverins for my Arbites army for events next year.

Browsing the shelves today buying bits and realised the Aethon isn't too dissimilar to an Armiger in size.

If you have anything you want to sneak into the house, Christmas Eve is the day to do it.

Can just rush through the door carrying anything saying “DON’T LOOK! DON’T LOOK!” and people will close their eyes.

Subtle reposing of Guilliman's Hand of Dominion arm, shoulder pad just balanced atm as that needs a tweak.

Sword arm just blutac'd in place at the moment, will decide on tweaking that element tomorrow.

But happy enough so far I think

32 years ago today, I walked into a local model shop and bought a blister pack of Mk8 Errant armour Space Marines and painted them in a deep blue and golden trim

Today, I walked into GW Chester and picked two legends of the same chapter!

Thinking about my army for WHW GT in Feb, and since I'm a solid 2-3 player nowadays to go full hog on the painting instead.

By doing an Agents army - all done as the thin blue line of Arbites.

Needs an Arbite Super-Heavy Walker idea though...
