Let me tell you ONE reason. Many Black people express what seems to be a common strategy. If they go out on the streets, there will be a massacre.

The work was voting. 92% of Black women understood that assignment on November 5. Here’s one of my favorite memes.

I decided to add this. For me, personally, at this stage in my life and body condition I have actually wondered if I should let them shoot me. I don’t think I could survive a fight but I might be willing to accept that. I doubt I have the courage but I wish I did a bit. Again 🫂

I think that with your experience you are exceptional and know exactly what you are doing. I salute you for sure. But I believe more women who have not had your experience (which is tragic) are not prepared to either fight or be beaten. I admire your courage and your choice. 🫂

It takes it out of you. When I was in the hospital with sepsis and got out I was weak as a kitten. But slowly I did get better. One step at a time, my friend.

Have you ever had the crap beaten out of you? I fell off my horse a couple of years ago. I got the breath knocked out of me for several seconds and cracked a rib. I screamed with pain every time I changed positions for a week. This was considering no body was trying to hurt me.

No you wouldn’t. Have you ever watched someone getting arrested and resisting? It’s not a game. You’ve never had a gun pointed at you and it shows. I have and I can tell you that you freeze in fear in you don’t flat out shit yourself. Go fantasize elsewhere.
