The elden ring twitch stream will continue tomorrow evening after 4pm pst! We'll be finishing up Limgrave, heading through Stormveil, and going from there.

I've managed to get my basic setup functioning again so it should hopefully go smoothly!

Definitely gonna be late starting up stream until I can get my capture working. If I can't get this to function I'll have to set up OBS on my other comp and that'll take a bit Dx

Okay I seem to have an issue. My capture comp only has usb lightning ports and requires an adaptor to connect to the usb 3.0 the card uses and the capture software says it needs to be connected directly to a 3.0 port which I do not have. I didn't used to have this issue so I'm not sure what to do

Currently trying to get my capture card setup for the stream but it doesn't seem to want to actually capture. I'm getting power and a signal to my monitor but my capture software isn't picking up the card. Hmmmmm.

Anyways this came up because I'm currently playing through Elden Ring at level 1 with +0 weapons and I'm on Starscourge Radahn (who I've beaten like this before) and struggling just as much as last time. I'll probably beat him in slightly fewer tries but man the time spent on every boss is trying

I could spend 20 hours fighting a boss methodically learning every one of their moves and on my next playthrough it'll be back to square one. It's really frustrating because I want to master these games but getting good doesn't mean much if it all just leaves my body by the time I'm back

I've been playing fromsoft games for years and I just can't seem to get consistent with bosses. I speedran bloodborne because you could mostly script fights but in Elden Ring and souls I'm just constantly getting wrecked by things I've fought many times despite trying my best to memorize moves

yeah doing this has made it very apparent to me that you straight up aren't meant to be able to avoid some attacks in the game but I've seen too many no-hit runs to not learn to do so anyways

Even after all this time I'm still discovering new things this guy can do. Fighting a boss with like 3 or 4 instant moves with roll catches for 5 minutes without making a mistake is bonkers hard for me
