This is a totally personal answer but the icthyosaurs from Half Life (especially 2 but 1 also) always have scared me more than anything else. I was too young to see them when I first played probably, but it still shocks me that they scare me so deeply for whatever reason.

It’s an RPG about a devil named Yerba who has been banished to Hell for alleged heresy that she can’t remember. Satan, the devil of a pagan god, partners with her to escape.
