That reminds me of a time when I was working with a guy who told me, " The only time we should look down on anyone is when we're helping them up"

America, for the last 70 years, has been the self-appointed world's policeman while terrorising anybody and everybody they see fit, assisted by their lapdog, the UK government.

Yet again, we see an accumulation of wealth by greedy bastard energy companies, squealing about paying tax while threatening people's livelihoods.

Scotland has only 8.3% of the UK's population. 8.3%! Remember this important figure... 8.3%
But we DO have approximately......
32% of the land area
61% of the sea area
90% of the fresh water. (There is more fresh water in loch Ness than In England and Wales combined!)

Pursuing an SNP majority rather than a pro-Indy majority smacks of pigheadedness and dare, I say, a touch of sabotage on John Swinney's part.

All the more reason to escape Westminster`s clutches, maybe then we`ll have free rein to improve the important things.

Practically every week, since Covid, I get a text from my local health centre telling me, for a specific day, "Due to absence the Practice will only be open for emergencies"

In an independent Scotland, the government wouldn`t have to "step in" because we would control the purse strings.

How much money does the Scottish government have to spend every year mitigating previous Westminster disasters from an annually reduced tax rebate. 🤷‍♂️

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train.

But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK.

Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.
