You were once a Giant, whose body was stardust & whose heart was a sun.
Your name in that time was ANTHROPOS.
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY DID IT, Hatmehit says. YOU ARE A TRUE KNIGHT! YOU DESERVE A GREAT REWARD!
You spend many days in the Library,
transcribing the work of Athena.
You learn much
of hope.
This is without a doubt the hardest problem I encountered.
Allow me to clarify.

As far as I'm concerned there's no difference between the way your mind works, and the rolling of a pebble down a hill.
Precisely!

My work here is done, I think.
Welcome, welcome. Please, explore a little. I think you will find what you are looking for. It can be disorienting at first, having no one tell you what to do.
Sorrow rises in your chest. You have been a bad human.

This is one way to live, but in time a messenger arrives offering you another. He asks if you would go back on the decision that threw you into this branch of the future. He asks if you will come with him to a new world where you will never need work again.

You're quite mad, I'm sure of it. Of course, the alternative accounts are all so ridiculous you'd be forgiven by any reasonable observer for choosing the best of a bad bunch.
You can't use reasoning to conclude that reasoning itself is flawed
We can calculate the age of the Earth, the size of the universe, the future of the stars. Sure, we are minuscule, momentary flashes of thought on a grain of sand drifting through the cosmos. But our minds can recreate the past and predict the future.
the Tree of Life
demanded too much
of this mortal
Religion, to me, is not about distorting observable reality with superstitions, but about *transcendence*. It's not about deluding ourselves that the Earth is 6000 years old or God will help us if we say the right words inside our heads, but about reaching out to the Sublime.
How disappointing. I really thought we might have made some progress towards a compromise.

Which lies in particular still capture your imagination?
Hey, he promised me the world as well! What a joker!
But they moved with such grace, such nobility, that it was hard not to follow them further into this strange garden of gears and cogs.
It seems my refusal to argue semantics with the computer has angered it, and it refuses to engage with me further. Elohim is pleased, which was not my intention.
