What would you call a non-binary parent? Say you are their child. What term would you use? I learned from same sex partnerships what two mothers are referred to for my novel, Garden of Gaia. Which I loved the input, but he way. 😊 Now I have a non-binary parent. What would their children call them?

October 11: Week 41: Day 4: Paradox, Knight of the Cosmos

In the novel, Dryad's Dream, the Sunfire is attacked, the crew killed or escaped. Lexia is badly injured, near death on an empty planet, without hope to survive. Paradox arrives, holds her in his arms, and reveals who he is to the audience.

I told someone that I used binary code in my sci-fi novel to spell out "Enterprise" and they said the whole point of Easter Eggs is so that people would understand the reference. I argued that hardcore fans or people who love puzzles will enjoy it. Explanations for them are found on the website. 😁

Blink and it's gone foreshadowing in book 1. ☺️ Talos states, "I have found zettabytes of information..." Why not gigabytes or terabytes? In the following novel in the series, a central protagonist is introduced names Zetta. Set in a sci-fi tech future, I named her after the term Zettabyte.

October 10: Week 41: Day 3: Paradox, Knight of the Cosmos

In the novel, Parallax's Paradox, he takes his helmet off to reveal his identity to Parallax. She begins to cry, knowing the truth. Before then, even I didn't know who he was. The audience is not revealed the truth until the next novel.

October 9: Week 41: Day 2: Paradox, Knight of the Cosmos

At the end of Tinker's Treasure, the question arose in my mind, what all can Lexia encounter inside the temporal nexus? I had all these ideas as to what to use. Then I thought, why not all of them? One was, what if Paradox made a cameo?

I am crying writing this. I admit this because I feel overwhelmed. Humbled. Happy. My books are my life. I cherish every novel, every person within their pages, and to me, they are my heart and soul. So, when someone else is excited for me because of what I created... It is the greatest joy to feel.

I have been a writer since high school. I failed at making a career out of being a writer until I started Tagonist Knights Publishing 7 year ago. Now I have 31 published novels. I feel like crying every time someone takes notice of what I have created and shows excitement with what I have done.

I said yes, I did. She grabs one that caught her attention and reads the back. It was the novel, In a Heartbeat. She says, "I am going to read this one. I am a reader. I love to read." She walked around the room declaring multiple times, "Matt writes books! Did you know Matt writes books!"

I replied, "To fill the space." She looks at them, asks if I had read them. I said yes. She said they looked brand new. They were from my private collection, so essentially untouched. Finally I point out that the author of all five is me. She was in shock. She asked, "You wrote these books?"

With that promotion I was moved to the back room in a cubicle. Each day since I started, I brought one of my books and set it on the empty space at my desk. It brought me comfort and reminded me of the journey I am on. Today, my supervisor came up to me and asked, why did I have those books out?

I want to tell you a story about what happened to me today. But first a bit of a background. I work for the FSSA and for the past 10 months I have worked up front, speaking to clients, changing people's lives by providing health coverage and food for those in need. This past week I was promoted.

I think Zoon. He is a synthetic life form that appears to have blue fur, a beak like nose, large wide eyes, tube like arms and legs, humanoid in form with a torso, head, neck, arms, legs, feet, hands, but can break apart. Each portion could be separate from one another and he is still alive.

Started writing book 1... Again... Word of advice to authors. Keep old material. I have been working on this series for over a year and if I hit a dead end and started over, I kept the old files. I am going back and using that material in new ways to shape the current version. So far, it's working!

Paradox's original artwork was meant to keep him a mystery when I created Tagonist Knights Publishing. He became the first Tagonist Knight to appear in a novel which sparked the idea, what if they were more than mere mascots for the company?
