Tag 2 was always run on PS3

Ideally we'd just want the game ported identically (with the same amount or less input delay as the original), and good netcode imo

I believe when the game originally came out, I think the competitive standard was ps2?

Unfortunately the HDO remake in question used a completely wrong version of the game (PAL) that was not considered the standard at all

Now most of the community plays on emulators online (even offline sometimes)

If this is even remotely true it better not be some monkeys paw shit like SC2HDO was

(It was the wrong buggy version of the game, had no real lobbies, had bad netcode, and had input delay even offline making if feel sluggish, so naturally a lot of the competitive scene rejected it)

Harada has def made some statements alluding to some of this (of course some things he cant directly come out and say clearly, but its heavily implied)

Like that its a completely new team, and that game devs are more heavily pressured by exec agendas

The lack of oversight is my own assumption tho

I imagine its completely in the hands of a new team (with very little to no input from Harada, unlike previous titles), little to no oversight in general, and corporate execs pushing their agenda (selling copies/dlc to a market of completely new players) above all else (game identity & quality)
