I used to watch scary/horror movies—the classics from the 60s to the 2000s. Faves: The Shining, Poltergeist, The Exorcist. But I’ve been out of the loop since my fella doesn’t like ‘em. Can you hook me up with a recent nail biter that will scare the crap outa me? Memes welcome 🎃

95%! Lol. Those are dire numbers. I think it’s been closer to 50/50. This might be optimistic, but I also think, as I say, the darker one side gets/feels, the brighter it will seem on the other side.

Yes. The struggle is real and it’s also never ending. There’s no on off switch. But when you get those good moments? That’s when you dig in, relish, roll around in it, breathe it in and hug it close. These are the pockets of life that give you the energy to go on.

I think it refers to how much we can stand before we rise up.

My mother was a religious woman. I’m far from that. But I get it. You have have faith in something.

You’ll know. Just be ready to act.

What gives me hope is this: In my lifetime, I have felt moments of profound grief and staggering despair, but it is only since then that I have been able to actualize and appreciate the greatest joys.

We must first witness the darkness to understand the need for light.
