A nice man has left me a load of jam and stuff and a note asking whether he can pick my quinces (probably not a euphemism)

I've seen the penis of a merman. It's in the penis museum in Reykjavik, and it's green. Next to it is the penis of an invisible man (a display case that appears to be empty).

Today I met a cat called Sara, which is the most wtf name I've ever heard for a cat

(At the Gothenburg cat café - so if you live round here you could adopt little Sara!)

As I suspected! While putting in yet another Delay Repay claim, I have learned that Macclesfield is in the bottom 3% of railway station performance in the UK. :(
That's over the past 12 weeks – at least at the times I've travelled, performance was very noticeably worse in the past!

I'm currently trying to switch to Three Broadband, but their website is totally failing to let me do so, with all kinds of server-related error messages. Now wondering whether this could be a red flag or a one-off 🤔🚩😬

It's a somewhat different way of doing a PhD, and the American faculty would have to relinquish some level of holding power over students, which may be unpalatable to many of them. Would also require attaining higher level of technical specialism beforehand; BS unlikely to change so get an MS first?

Anyone on #chemsky have thoughts or insights into fully remote jobs that still live in the process development chemistry realm? May potentially need to transition to a remote position next year and trying to plan ahead
