Technically it is. There have been a few dozen voter fraud convictions in California over the past decade. It's true in pretty much every state. It's just not the problem they are saying it is (nor is it particularly one-sided).

This gives the republicans waaaay too much credit. Denying health care is one of the benefits of the shutdown to them, not a game they are playing with other ends.

I don't understand why you had such an aggressive reaction to what I agree is a minor disagreement. It's weird and not healthy to view disagreement as "looking for a fight."

I also think it's silly to play dumb about people's motivations, which is why I disagreed with your original post.

Unfortunately, 97% of "not sure" are Joe the Plumbers who know it's Trump's fault, but won't blame him for anything because they love him or they are unhealthily loyal republicans. Which means it's more like 52% blame Dems and 48% blame Trump.

I am together. That's why I realize that a violent bigot like Miller would feel safer around soldiers - even ones who aren't getting paid - than he would around people against whom he's helping lead terrorist governmental attacks. It's weird you don't see this, too.

"You don't need to have a trial"

Underrated point. "Innocent until proven guilty" is an allocation of proof in a criminal trial. We are not obligated (and should not) follow this rule in our everyday lives.

100% agree on the tone. But "I live in a swing state" isn't really a defense to taking public stances that affect support for strong anti-Trump people in other states. And, while Newsom is not good on trans issues, pretending trans people would be as bad off with him as they are with Trump is absurd

If we can hand control over to the minority of white women who supported Harris, why couldn't we turn control over to everybody in the minority who supported Harris? I'd say it's a weird take, but really you're just saying, "I should get to decide," which is a common theme in American politics.

Trump would 100% say, "if they are criminals, go for it." He would also define criminals to exclude anybody he wanted to exclude.

Incorrect. They absolutely care. They WANT to get US citizens. They are terrorists. It helps keep people scared.
