[ Meet the Sona ] Happy-go-luck, somewhat of a dork, but quite timid..it's me, Cry ! Once just a nudibranch in the ocean, but now a nudibranch dragon, he is the guardian of Estrelendas' sun, a fellow with cloud powers in which he uses in combat with the help of his string worm partner, Glooby !! ☀️☁️

Reference sheet of my sona, Cry, an yellow nudibranch dragon that has a black fur covering his eyes, with cyan details in his body. In the bottom of the sheet is his clothed version, in which he wears a cloud theme tie, with ocean themed coat, with a sailor captain cloud hat. On the left is the splash art, a dynamic art with Cry with his outfit, creating a cloud with thunder coming out of it. Glooby, his string worm can be seen inside the cloud.

So that's indeed the game for you. Digimon games tends to vary in gameplay from game to game, but this one is about one of the Digital Worlds(Iliad), so story-wise you'll likely be satisfied!

I recommend for beginners! I've heard from friends not playing on hard mode(like i am) that the easier difficulties are really welcoming to newbies. The story is a lot more like what the animes would be like, so it's really good!

THEY ARE SO TINY

They always stayed in little groups and would make whistling noises! Some would also get real close out of curiosity

Riiight? I've always liked the idea of having battles trigger special phases depending of your choices in battle. I could imagine the game would hint you to do it or not so it beforehand on the overworld

Do get it! I'd say it's really beginner friendly and the story is a lot more immersive than a lot of previous entries, and that includes its sub quests too as they are related to the world and have some lore in it, unlike most of the sub quests in the other Digi Stories which where a chore to do

I'm possibly more than halfway thru in Digimon Time Stranger, and it's already my most favorite Digimon game. I've never been so invested in all characters like this in a Digimon game before, sniff...
