Alex, it whould be amazing to have a video with invited Unreal Engine expert/developer to go through those INI tweaks, explaining what they do, what they do not and why they aren't a magic bullet. Regular gamer is so easily manipulated and prefer magical thinking over technical knowledge.
From the fact that I barely see any impact from switching between DLAA and DLSS ultra perf, but you are right - same thing with software Lumen and minimum settings. None of CPU cores are fully loaded either. Maybe some Gamebryo weird bottleneck then?
With hardware Lumen resolution doesn't affect performance anyway, so...
Yeah, because it is made badly, over-reflective, and Unreal, being dependent on Lumen, has no cubemap to fall back to. It's a junky plug for when you can't enable hardware RT. If you can - just disable SSR.
