Last night, Scotrail train, Ticket Examiner explains to bloke in train vestibule that his bike should be in the bike space. He points out that people are sitting in that space. TE points out to the bloke with bike that it's a safety issue, and moves on. No word to anyone else. Next station...
My dad's car regs from the 60s, all of them, all my landlines ever. My sister's landlines going back to the 70s, my bank card deets, my NI number, the catalogue number of Steely Dan and Pink Floyd albums, my mobile number...surely everyone...no?
I'd say they made those communities poorer, less connected physically, and seen as places to avoid. Oh,and those communities pay their council tax to Glasgow, unlike many of the motorists in the 'suburbs'.
