Yesterday court remanded the 12 climate activists to 16th October,2025. They have spent 2 months in prison now !. The magistrate adjourned the matter after state tried to sneak in new evidence that was neither in the disclosure or served to the lawyers .

Court update: Yesterday 12 of our comrades who were arrested on 1st August for petitioning @stanbicug to stop funding the deadly project @EACOP_ have been further remanded until 1st October. We call upon the immediate release because justice delayed is justice denied.

Magistrate at Nakawa Chief Magistrate Court, Namanya Frank has this afternoon granted a cash bail to the brave 11 environmental defenders arrested for opposing @kcbbankug funding to eacop. We must continue to resist all the enablers of fossil fuels.

🚨 Quick update on the #KCB11 case:
▶️The Chief Magistrate refused to reassign the case.
▶️Court has again adjourned the matter to July 17, when the presiding magistrate is back from leave.
▶️The 11 will have spent 85 days in jail for peacefully protesting #EACOP! #Justice4KCB11
