That's something that always occured to me when people would inevitably start arguments in the comments. Like, what are you doing? Why are you getting angry at someone in the comments of a porn site? Why aren't you jacking it?

My defining memory of the site was a user who insisted on posting a comment on every single picture in-character for a few years, waffling about how he was going to defeat the picture's subject. It's like, buddy, why are you commenting on a porn site? Jack it then leave.

It still exists under new ownership, but when the site changed URL's it turned out that I didn't have my password written down anywhere, just relying on autofill for the old site. It's just as well, it doesn't offer anything anymore that you can't get directly from elsewhere.

Predictably, it became flooded with AI bullshit, but also people getting defensive that their AI bullshit wasn't bullshit (even though it clearly was and is bullshit) and at that point using it at all had long-since not been worth it.

Giantessbooru, in the very early days, was a great repository for weird, niche GTS art from incredibly obscure corners of the internet. As time went on though, 95% of the images were just sourced from DeviantArt and the site became increasingly redundant.
